At the dental treatment centre, we carry out many different types of treatments; here is a selection of what we do and an idea of the prices:
- New patient exam, including small X-rays: £35.00
- Regular examination: £25.00
- Root canal treatment from: £140.00
- White fillings from: £45.00
White; or composite fillings are tooth coloured and are made from powdered glass quartz added to a resin base. The dentist will choose a shade to match your existing teeth
- Silver fillings from: £40.00
Silver; or Amalgam fillings are made by combining mercury and a silver alloy. Amalgam is long lasting and has been used in fillings for over 150 years. An amalgam filling can last 15-20 years.
- Tooth whitening from: £365.00
Using the zoom professional whitening system, within just over an hour, teeth can be lightened up to eight shades lighter.
- Crowns from: £290.00
A crown or ‘cap’ completely covers a weak tooth above the gum line. Their function is to restore the tooth to its natural shape and size, whilst protecting and strengthening the tooth and improving aesthetics
- Implants from: £1800
Implants are an alternative to dentures or bridgework. They are made from titanium and are surgically placed into the jawbone, acting as an anchor for fastening a denture or a crown onto.
- Bridges from: £250 per unit
Bridges are for people who don’t like dentures, or only have a few missing teeth. Conventional bridges are made, by crowning the teeth on either side of the gap and attaching a false tooth in the middle. These bridges are made using precious metals bonded to porcelain.
The C-Plan, is our practice plan, the prices for the standard monthly plan are as follows:
Adults: £9.00
Children ages 11-17: £4.50
Children ages 6-10: £3.00
Children aged 5 and under: Free
Members of the C-plan receive a 25% reduction on the price of all treatments, as well as having two check-ups, two scale and polishes, all emergency appointments and small X-rays covered by the monthly payment plan.
As a Dental therapist/hygienist has recently joined our practice, we are now also introducing a new level to the C-Plan for patients that are interested.
C-plan Premium
Adults: £12.50
Same as the standard C-plan, apart from; the scale and polishes with the Dental therapist. The therapist would do a thorough scale and polish as well as helping patients with brushing and maintenance techniques, over a 20 minute appointment.
